After a lengthy absence from releasing music but no lapse in production output it’s time for the fourth EP on Bulu’s self release imprint Bulu Sound, a 3 track EP that spells the beginning of a more refined Bulu including vocals laid down by the man himself.

The first track is an ethereal roller that’s hard to place in terms of genre. Orchestral pads, trance arps and a loose garage beat topped by Bulu’s ghostly vocals make for a versatile tune for the radio, club, or the tube ride to work.

Next up comes “Loving You” which brings more vocals to the table along with a broken rave beat and some thick bass for your ears and for the dance.

Finishing up theres “Hope” which sits closer to Bulu’s original drum and bass influenced sounds. A more complex and full vocal arrangement leads to a drop back into Bulu’s roots with a dance floor stomping breakbeat and warped bass line.

This EP gives us a glimpse of the Bulu that’s to be expected as his releases start to come back thick and fast and with rumours of a full vocal album coming in the relatively near future these releases aren’t to be missed.
